Mark Harris

Mark Harris, founder and CEO of Mark Harris Engineering, LLC, has spent his career developing new technologies and complex systems primarily in the aerospace industry. He discovered his passion for engineering early in his career and quickly established himself as an industry expert in the field of systems engineering. Throughout his career he honed his capabilities performing dynamic analysis, simulation of complex systems, technology development, requirements development and management, system and verification testing, failure analyses as well as organizational, process and people development. Systems engineering and its application applies to a wide variety of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing, Electrical and electronics, Energy and Defense. Systems thinking is needed everywhere.

Mark received a dozen international patents ranging from simple mechanical solutions to entire system implementations. New product development programs for which he provided technical design detail, complex analyses, overall technical oversight as well as managerial leadership include:

Developed advanced Fuel Control Systems and Engine Actuation Systems for both commercial and military applications.  Provided leadership of Systems and Project Engineering disciplines for the  ICAMS division of SIS in Vermont. Responsible for the systems engineering development of Fuel and Sensing Systems, Proximity Sensing Systems, HUMS applications, GNC systems and Electric Braking Systems.
